Automation Engineer (Machine Vision)
Location : Cebu, Philippines
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the sales team in promoting the company’s FA (Factory Automation) products & solutions through presentation and product demonstration
- Manage multiple concurrent industrial automation projects and ensure that project commitments and deadlines are met
- Provide project status reports and serve as primary customer interface for scope, schedule, and budget issues
- Provide periodic reports of project status and progress to management
- Responsible for onsite system setup and testing for machine vision system.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support to customers.
- Integrate and configure machine vision related hardware such as camera, lenses, optics, lighting, controller and vision software development.
- Perform sample evaluation to study system integration feasibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechatronics (Robot & Automation), Electrical / Electronics (Control System) or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in machine vision system, servo control system, HMI and PLC project implementations and technologies
- Optional experience on computer vision and deep learning.
- Strong knowledge and experience in C++ and C# programming language.
- Understanding and knowledge on industrial communication protocols and 2D/3D drawing software will be an advantage
- Have track record in handling industrial automation projects as Automation Engineer
- Ability to work independent, self-motivated and willingness to work overtime
- Responsible, initiative and good interpersonal skill
- Good command in English communication (written and verbal) and computer literacy
